Denzo Guitar Software III: the guitar tool
Denzo Guitar Software (DGS) is, without dubt, a unique software in the range
of guitar related application. This uniqueness is determined by it's attention
to music theory that is usually is forgotten by all other guitar product.
You can manage concept as chord/scale relationship, inversions, subscales,
similar chord, tonaly, harmonization, fourth harmony, analisys of chord from its
notes, and other that I usually describe as harmony tools.
But DGS is a guitar related software: DGS offers a wide range of functionalities
to map note on fretboard with different rules, so you can think C, E, G as a
chord and you can find all possible positions, inversions of this chord (you
have more that 12 different parameter to describe which type of chord you're
looking for); or you can think C, E, G as an arpeggio (scale) and ask DGS which
are the best position to play it. Obviously are also supported the inverse
functions to obtain chord/scale name from fretboard position.
Any algorithm consider the current tuning (that you can alter as you like
before any search), information regarding fret extension, difficult to play
positions, and so on.
Finally DGS offers functionality to map music (MIDI or MUS format) to fretboard
and manage chord linking and Chord Melody progressions.
Everything can be heard throught MIDI.
As you can see this is a very complicated application and users have to spend a while to understand every function they have in their hands.

You can consult all results you have found in tab format in the journal
You can analyze upon a fretboard all selected objects: you can see chords defining a lot of parameters, idem for scales and arpeggios.

Upon these you can create your own exercise using a very interesting exercise builder
More than 15 tuning for a lot of string instruments (up to 14 strings)
Allow tuning your instruments according with the selected tuning
You can define your own custom tuning
You can link 2 chords according with chord voicing (sw find the better positions)
You can analyze all interesting positions of a sequence of note: sw allow you to define some parameters for finding the position you prefer for playing any chords and any melody.
Then you can exercise yourself with this playing with computer.
You can describe chord by its note and sw find better position on the freeboard
You can see all results in very good graphic format and print it (scales and chords).

To install this software simply explode zip archive with -d option (create directory tree) wherever you want on your hard-disk. Copy every file .ttf you find in the archive in the fonts folder under windows directory. Copy VBRUN300.DLL in windows directory the start program and register your code.
